Permanent roaming
Allowed for a limited time, 90 days. The CRA states that permanent inbound roaming will not normally be permitted and that an IoT device with a foreign IMSI is blocked after 90 days of weekly access attempts, for a further 90 days, unless the operator allows it commercially.

What it means for IoT devices in Qatar
- Plan a local profile: foreign SIMs cannot stay indefinitely. An eSIM able to download a local profile, or a local SIM, avoids being cut off.
- Private delivery works the same from Qatar: device data reaches your cloud over private links. See private delivery.
