EID (eUICC Identifier)
Updated
The EID is the 32-digit identifier of an eUICC, assigned when the chip is manufactured and defined in GSMA SGP.29. It identifies the secure chip itself and stays the same whatever operator profiles are downloaded into it.
In practice
The EID is the number an eSIM platform needs to send a profile to one specific device. Keep it in your inventory next to the ICCID of each profile and the IMEI of the device.
