LTE Cat-4
Updated
LTE Category 4 is a 4G device category with peak rates of 150 Mbit/s down and 50 Mbit/s up, defined in 3GPP Release 8. It is the usual category of industrial 4G routers and gateways that carry video or many devices behind them.
In practice
For a router or a camera, Cat-4 is often enough. Higher categories add speed through carrier aggregation, but they do not improve coverage at the edge of a cell.
