Permanent roaming
Updated
Permanent roaming is the use of a SIM from a foreign operator in a country for an unlimited period, as IoT devices often do. Some countries allow it, some limit the time a foreign SIM may stay, and some forbid it by law or by operator policy.
In practice
Check the rule of each country before deploying: a device that is fine for a 90-day pilot can be cut off in production.
