SM-SR (Subscription Manager Secure Routing)
Updated
The SM-SR is the platform that manages an eUICC remotely in the older machine-to-machine eSIM architecture, GSMA SGP.02. It pushes profiles to the device and enables, disables or deletes them, and it is normally chosen when the eUICC is manufactured.
In practice
Moving a deployed SGP.02 eUICC to another SM-SR requires the cooperation of the current one, which is why many SGP.02 projects stayed with their first provider. SGP.32 has no SM-SR.
